The Challenge
This project consisted of three assignments focused on graphic typography. First, I created original typographic artwork and applied it to two product mock-ups: a soda can and a record album cover. The third component involved designing graphic typography based on a selected quote. The overall goal was to explore how typography can visually express mood and convey meaning across different formats.
The Solution
For this project, I chose Schitt's Creek as my overarching theme. The show's distinct characters and their iconic moments provided rich creative inspiration. Moira's eccentric personality and her fruit wine commercial naturally lent themselves to the soda can design, while Alexis's original song “A Little Bit Alexis” was a perfect match for the album cover, blending humor and pop culture charm. For the typographic quote, I drew from David's memorable one-liners, using his wit and sarcasm to guide the mood and visual tone. Each piece allowed me to explore how typography could reflect the personality, humor, and emotion that makes the show so beloved.
